Upheaval In Nepal — September 2025
Many of you have asked about the situation in Nepal—the political and MicroAid’s work—during and after the recent upheaval. A couple of months ago, the government cut off most social media access. This affected communication with our project manager, but we worked around the issue and continued our project. The Gen-Z protesters (as they came to be called) took to the streets, where they were met with deadly fire from the authorities—21 young people were killed and 100 wounded
