Another Completed Project in Nepal

I am pleased to report that MicroAid finished another house for a beneficiary family in Nepal.

As you know, we have been rebuilding houses in Nepal since the earthquake of 2015 destroyed 650,000 homes.

MicroAid is working in the urban landmark town of Bhaktapur, in the Kathmandu Valley, where it is crowded, complex, and expensive to rebuild.

We are one of the few organizations—international or domestic—that is still rebuilding permanent homes for survivor families. And there is still plenty of work to do.

It takes focus and determination to continue to help people in an area after the world’s attention has moved on—as other disasters and calamities vie for attention and resources.

MicroAid and our beneficiary families appreciate the consistent and generous support of our donors so we can continue this important work.

Without MicroAid these families would have to live in what’s left of their dangerously damaged homes or in a makeshift structure forever. Instead, they get to bless their new home with a traditional “puja” ceremony on their new doorstep.

Thank you for sticking with us… and them.
Wishing you all the best.
Namaste,
Jon Ross
