MicroAid Builds a Family Compound for Pedro — 2015

Pedro's wife abandoned the family (four girls, one boy) a few years earlier, and he was doing his best to raise and support them, along with his mom, when the typhoon destroyed their home and damaged hers. He rebuilt as best he could, and they all lived in one cramped space. But they didn’t own the land, and the owner wanted it back. So MicroAid built on land they did own!

After his home was completely destroyed, Pedro and his kids lived in what remained of the grandmother’s house.
