If you support MicroAid, your donations have paid for the bricks and mortar and local labor for the permanent house we are building for another earthquake-survivor family in Bhaktapur, Nepal. We’re almost done—here it is:
As you recall, our engineer felt that the family’s home, which was damaged in the 2015 earthquake, was too dangerous to live in, so we took it down and replaced it.
The new house will withstand future earthquakes and last for generations to come—we also built it to the historical-landmark requirements of the neighborhood.
So, you can feel proud that you helped another disaster-survivor family return to a normal life… in a safe and comfortable home. Thank you for being part of that.
That’s what MicroAid is all about. And we are still the only NGO consistently rebuilding earthquake-damaged homes in the urban Kathmandu Valley!
And thanks to our Nepal project manager, Nabina Duwal, for her hard work and dedication.
Please donate, now, so we can help more disaster-survivor families in Nepal.
